Portland, ME – R.M. Davis, northern New England’s largest private wealth management firm, has expanded its leadership team with the addition of three prominent finance industry executives.

Caleb DuBois, Tim Malisa and Tim Acquaviva all started in recent months.

DuBois joins R.M. Davis as Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel. All three also serve as vice presidents of the firm.

“We want to provide the highest level of service possible to clients and professional partners in all that we do,” R.M. Davis CEO Geoffrey Alexander said. “These additions bring valuable experience and insight to our team, which undoubtedly will help us deliver on that goal moving forward.”

DuBois is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to joining R.M. Davis, he served as a shareholder at Bernstein Shur. In his current role, he is responsible for the oversight and direction of the company’s compliance activities, compliance policies and risk management environment, as well as management of legal affairs.

“Caleb is a high caliber professional with extensive experience counseling all participants in the capital markets and asset management industry on their most sophisticated matters,” said R.M. Davis President and General Counsel Scot Draeger.

Malisa has more than 15 years of experience in portfolio management, investments and wealth management planning. He most recently held the role of Director of Portfolio Management at Spinnaker Trust in Portland. Malisa is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and completed the Massachusetts Bankers Association Leadership Development Program in 2021.

Acquaviva, who works out of the Portsmouth office, previously served as Client Service and Regulatory Manager for Wellington Management Company in Boston before coming to R.M. Davis. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Acquaviva graduated from Rollins College and Bentley University.

“These are two huge hires for R.M. Davis – where we stretched to get top rising stars within our industry,” Draeger said about Malisa and Acquaviva joining the leadership team.
