Serving with Purpose: R.M. Davis Teams Up to Support Local Families
R.M. Davis is proud to announce the successful completion of its third annual Day of Service, held on November 24, 2025. Nearly 50 R.M. Davis team members came together to support the local community, focusing their efforts on fighting food insecurity - a cause especially meaningful to the organization.
This year's Day of Service brought together the talented Culinary Arts students and faculty at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland and the R.M. Davis team. Working side by side, they made pies and rolls and delivered them to Wayside Food Programs in Portland. There, the R.M. Davis team helped pack 75 Thanksgiving boxes for neighbors in need.
"Giving back is a core part of our ethos at R.M. Davis, and we are thankful that we were able to support Wayside Food Programs and the important work they do," said Scot Draeger, President of R.M. Davis. "Our annual Day of Service is a testament to our commitment to fostering kindness, connection, and civic responsibility. I feel fortunate to have a team that is dedicated to helping our community."
R.M. Davis remains committed to making a meaningful difference in the community through its Charitable Giving initiatives - such as the Day of Service - helping to uplift and strengthen the local community.
