Melissa Heffernan, IACCP

In her role as a Compliance Officer, Melissa focuses on oversight of the company’s compliance activities and the implementation of its compliance policies and procedures.  She is an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) and ensures that the company’s work complies with applicable regulations and internal policies, focusing on investment advisory compliance.  Melissa organizes, maintains, and updates compliance programs and trainings, assesses the adequacy of the company’s compliance strategies and the effectiveness of their implementation, and manages special projects in close collaboration with the company’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Melissa was born and raised in Massachusetts.  She and her husband, Ryan, now reside in Cumberland, Maine with their three children - Liam, Ainsley, and Rowen.  When she isn't shuttling a child to an activity or cheering from the sidelines at one of their games, she enjoys reading, baking, and flower gardening.
