Vice President, Technology & Information Security


Position Overview

The Vice President, Technology & Information Security leads the firm’s technology and information security strategy, overseeing technology operations, vendor relationships, project management, and cybersecurity. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role also serves as the firm’s Information Security Officer (ISO).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technology & Operations

  • Develop and execute the firm’s technology strategy and multi‑year roadmap
  • Oversee internal technology resources and external vendors
  • Lead enterprise technology initiatives and system conversions
  • Monitor IT performance, KPIs, and budgets
  • Partner with executive leadership to promote operational efficiency

Information Security

  • Serve as the firm’s Information Security Officer
  • Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies and controls
  • Conduct security risk assessments and vendor diligence
  • Lead incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery
  • Communicate risks to senior leadership and the Board

People Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor Help Desk staff
  • Support professional development and training
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable culture

 

qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of technology leadership experience
  • Strong project management and cybersecurity expertise
  • Knowledge of SEC, GLBA, FFIEC, and NIST standards
  • Experience with FinTech platforms and software used in wealth management
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Excellent communication skills
