postition overview:
The Network and IT Support Specialist provides comprehensive technical support for the firm’s end-user computing environment. This role is responsible for resolving a wide range of technical issues that impact employee productivity and client service, while ensuring a high standard of support across the organization. This role also serves as a liaison between the firm and third-party technology providers to coordinate support, address issues, and promote seamless service delivery.
This position is primarily hands-on, focused on technical execution, issue resolution, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement of IT support processes within a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Support & Network Management
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues across all end user environments, including the firm’s FinTech platforms
- Monitor systems and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Lead incident response, business continuity, and NIST efforts for the firm
Vendor Management & Service Coordination
- Manage vendor performance to ensure quality standards and service levels are met
- Coordinate ticket escalation, communication, and resolution between internal users and IT vendors
- Manage and maintain IT software licenses, including tracking, renewals, and compliance management
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

Analyze recurring technical issues and implement long-term solutions to reduce disruptions

Develop and refine support processes, workflows, and escalation paths
- Contribute to IT service management initiatives and documentation standards
- Participate in the preparation and ongoing oversight of the Technology budget
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

4 - 6+ years of experience in providing IT support in a Windows-based environment
- Experience working with outsourced IT vendors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Experience managing a multi-layered approach to information security and cybersecurity
- Experience with FinTech platforms and software used in wealth management industry
- Knowledge of SEC, GLBA, FFIEC, and NIST standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
