Wendy A. Laidlaw, CFP®, IACCPsm, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer
Wendy joined R. M. Davis, Inc. in 1995, coming to
the firm from the Cumberland County Training
Resource Center where she had been Director of
Administration (1993-1995). Prior to moving to
Maine, she served as Budget Specialist for the City
Manager's Office in Raleigh, North Carolina
(1986-1993) and as an Operating Accountant for the
Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon in Washington,
D.C. (1983-1986). From 1981-1983, she served
on Capitol Hill as a member of the staffs of
Senators Wendell Ford and Carl Levin.
Wendy is a Certified Financial Planner® , an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional sm and also holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from
George Mason University and a Master of Business
Administration degree from Meredith College. Wendy has
served on several local boards and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the
Community Counseling Center of Maine, Board of Trustees of Bangor
Theological Seminary, and the National Schwab Institutional Technology and Operations Advisory Board for 2009-2010. She recently completed her term as a member of the Charles Schwab & Company Institutional National
Advisory Board.
Born in Michigan and now residing in Portland, Maine with Mike, her husband,
Wendy has two step-sons and eight grandchildren. Wendy
enjoys reading, travel, and golf.
