Robert M. (Mal) Davis, CEO and President

Mal founded R. M. Davis, Inc. in 1978 and is CEO and President of the company. Before founding R. M. Davis, Inc., Mal was Vice President of Portfolio Management for Union Mutual Management Corp. from 1974-1978 and Vice President of Trust Investments for Maine National Bank from 1964-1974.

Mal graduated from Hobart College in 1962 with a BA degree in economics. He earned his MBA from Cornell's Graduate School of Business and Public Administration in 1964 majoring in finance.

Mal is a member of various councils and associations including the CFA Institute, Boston Security Analysts Society, Inc., the Maine CFA Society, the Maine Estate Planning Council, and Maine Employee Benefits Council

Mal has served on many community boards including the Kennebunk Youth Hockey Association, Micum McIntire Clan Association, Central Board of South Church of Kennebunkport, The Park Danforth and the United Way Charitable Foundation. He has served on the Investment Committees for the Maine Audubon Society, Sweetser Home, and Camp Susan Curtis. Mal also has served as a member of the Board of Governors of Webhannet Golf Club and as a member of the Institutional Advisory Board of Charles Schwab.

Mal was born in York, Maine and has three grown children and six grandchildren. He resides in Kennebunk Beach, Maine with his wife, Michele, and enjoys golf, music, art, and travel.
