Bill joined R. M. Davis, Inc. in 1980 as Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Before joining R. M. Davis,
Inc., Bill was Senior Vice-President of Analysis and Portfolio Management at Phoenix Investment Counsel of Boston, Inc. from 1969–1979 and Trust Investment Officer with Maine National Bank from 1966–1969.
Bill is a graduate of Hebron Academy and Bowdoin College where he majored in Art and was a Captain of both the Hockey and Lacrosse teams. Community boards on which Bill has served include Maine College of Art, Park Danforth, PROP, Falmouth Congregational Church , CT, and the Yarmouth Community Garden. Bill is also a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council.
Bill resides in Yarmouth with his wife Shirley Martin. They enjoy travel, gardening, art, and getaways to island properties in Penobscot Bay and the Bahamas. They have four children and three grandchildren.
